AMERICAN MUSLIMS: A History Revealed is a landmark series of short documentary films that reveal and explore the untold histories of Muslims in the United States. First imagined in 2017, this project spans mediums; the team plans to recut it into a feature-length documentary for broadcast, and reversion into an accompanying podcast to provide opportunities for a deeper discussion. While still rolling out, this series has outperformed all expected metrics from PBS.
Role: Production Manager
Worked as an AP on the Pilot, then came back on as Production Manager in pre-production on the six-part series. Fall 2022 - December 2024.
Led the planning for shoots across the country, produced and problem-solved in the field, supported Talent. In Post, led archival searching, tracking and licensing. Coordinated with all stakeholders from Talent to EPs, supervised graphic artists and Associate Editors, and liaised with PBS for final delivery.
